I am not ready yet to get my little boy’s hair cut. He is badly need of one but for some odd reason I am having a hard time with it.
I had an easier time letting him go to daycare and easier time being without him a weekend when he and daddy went to grandpa/grandma’s 4 hours away for a weekend in Sept.
This I am having a hard time with.. but I know it is time considering he is starting to have a baby mullet (LOL).
Sigh.. babies growing up is hard thing on parents…

I have to do this soon too. I can handle the baby mullet but she has several long bangs hanging in her eyes. I am not going near her face with a pair of scissors so I can’t do it. My hope is if I hold out long enough the daycare will take care of it. They already cut her nails since I’m too much of a pansy to do it.

I was the same way! But I luckily had a little girl who’s hair could grow for awhile. Her first haircut was at age 2 and that was because her hair is very thick and was overwhelming her.
My sister refused to cut my nephews hair. But he couldn’t see and people always thought he was a girl. One lady laughed and said he had a Dora haircut. She finally cut it! It was hard though.

My son’s first haircut was at about 4 months old- he was born with a full head of hair and it grew so fast! He gets his hair cut about every 2 months now.

My sons first haircut wasn’t that bad because it was just his bangs that needed to be cut(ok, probably the back too). When he actually got an all over haircut it was bad for me. He had the most adorable curls but he kept on being mistaken for a girl 🙁 So the curls had to go. It is sad when our babies grow up.
