My friend planned her wedding in 6 months, another friend planned her wedding in 2.5 months for under 5k and it was an awesome wedding.  Just keep your eyes peeled and get a venue as soon as possible, but it can be done.  And Bridesmaid or Best Man living 2 hours away is great!  You can drive to see them, all my Bridesmaid or Best Man live across the country. I miss them, but at least I can spare them from my crazy wedding talk.

I dont have engagment photos either, dont worry you can do it.

Welcome to the Hive!  You will find a great support system here.  We are having a budget wedding also and you will find great money saving ideas here, also if you can’t find something these women have either already located it or are google godesses and can find it.

I got all my stuff so far at a discounted price. I went to a tent sale for my dress and my MOh’s dress and spent $120 there total. My rings I got a pawn shop for $150, the flowers I’m buying fake at Hobby Lobby at one of their anual sales, my cake I’m having a friend make because her mom does it for a living and is only going to charge me cost, it will be held at the church my Fiance grew up in for free, etc. There are pleanty of ways to save money on a wedding if you know how to do it. Go to sales if you can find any close by and maybe you will get lucky!
