Super excited because I just felt my baby kick today for the first time! It was really so cool! I felt 3 distinct kicks this morning a little after I woke up. Now I’ve been holding my hand on my stomach all day hoping to feel more, ha!
I’m at 17w 2d and was just wondering when the rest of you felt your baby kick first? I know they say that you usually notice it earlier for your second kid so that’s why I’m just asking about ladies pregnant with their first.
So when was it ladies? 😊

I think between weeks 15-16 I could feel flutters and then Darling Husband could feel from the outside around week 17. I have a posterior placenta so I felt the movements earlier than I expected, which was amazing!

I’m 19+1 and I haven’t felt anything yet! I’m starting to get a tiny bit nervous but I have a scan tomorrow so I’ll be able to see him then ☺️

I think I felt flutters around 19 weeks and actual kicks around 21? I cant be exactly sure though! Its very excited… such an amazing feeling!

thumperbear : I’m sure everything is fine 🙂 I know a friend of mine didn’t feel anything until after 20 weeks. Also I know a lot of women can miss it at first because it won’t necessarily feel like a kick.

20 weeks because of an anterior placenta.

About 16 weeks I noticed what felt like tickles. I probably didn’t feel real kicks until 19 or 20 weeks.

16 weeks. I brought it up at my doctor’s appointment with some sensation I was feeling and the doc confirmed it was the babby.

Felt flutters for the first time a little after 18w. I felt kicks at 20w and hubby felt them from the outside at exactly 21w.

I felt the first flutters pretty early- around 15 weeks, I think. I was reading Skinny Bitch: Bun in the Oven and they were describing what the first tiny movements felt like and then I felt it- like tiny champagne bubbles! 🙂

llevinso : just like you at 17 weeks 😀 at 20 weeks my Darling Husband could feel them too 🙂
I’m 22 weeks now and its still the best feeling in the world, but starting to be strong enough that I suddenly have to pee 😉 his feet are usually just by my bladder though so thats just bad luck 😉

HappyCatLady : Ha! The baby is pressed right up against my bladder almost constantly. So now when I sneeze I also sometimes pee a little. The joys of pregnancy!
