I can’t believe it’s almost 1 year !
My husband and I are planning our first anniversary trip to Paris… We’ll be having a photoshoot for the event. I found a resonably priced Photographer in Paris – Better Paris Photos we booked with Elena Usasheva.
I’ll be wearing a white and Fushia dress and holding a bouquet 🙂 (pics below)
What do you think? I want to make a bolero for the dress any suggestions?
Also can you suggest any certain romantic activities other than the common tourist-y sites? certain resturants, places to visit, affordable shopping…we’ll be there for 7 days 🙂
Another thing, any simple wedding anniversaery gifts (light to carry in luggage)?
Thanks in advance!

I don’t have any Paris suggestions, but as far as gifts, first anniversary is paper, so maybe a book? (If Mr. Maioza is into books.) Or possibly art?

@Elvis: Well he’s not into either that what makes it hard to find a suitable gift, I thought a personalised calender would be nice do you have any other suggestions?

Hmm, paper anniversary gift… how about tickets to something he’s into, like a music concert or comedy show, to go to after you’re back home? Light/easy-to-pack, plus it’ll extend the celebration, and who doesn’t love to do that!

@diplomatswife: well, i didn’t think of that…will check the Opera House they have many shows and we meant to go there for a while but didn’t get a chance 🙂
Do you have any suggestions about Paris? or Do you hav photos for a bolero to fit with this dress?

@Maioza: Splurge on a 6 course meal. When I was there for my dad and step moms wedding we went to a restaurant on a canal that had the most amazing food, and was something like 6 or 7 courses. Talk about amazing.

@Excited To Bee: Do you know the name of the restaurant?

@Maioza: I dont 🙁 It was owned by a family friend so thats all I ever heard and we went in at night and the place was closed for my family. 🙁 Sorry.. but I am sure you can find something good by googling.

Paper is hard.
Maybe wrap yourself in paper and put a bow on your head?
I’m completely serious.

Tickets to a show, museum, sporting event
Art, poem, sheet music
Airline tickets for a getaway
If he collects baseball cards, autographs, comics, maybe something rare or hard to find
Printed menu of a special dinner you’re cooking
Gift certificate to a restraurant or
Gift certificate for men’s day spa for a straight razor shave
Custom painting or caricature of the two of you
Nice famed wedding photo
Lottery tickets with a different meaningful gift
And I’m spent.
