you have got to be kidding me! Such a STUNNING wedding! Where you took your vows..my hearts melting. LOVE THE WHOLE THING!!! Congrats!
Just got back from our amazing wedding in Thailand! It was sooo much fun! I got so much inspiration from the wonderful posts here,I figured I would share some pics.
Wow gorgeous! I was chatting with some other bees about whether I should have the honeymoon in Thailand and SE Asia or Europe, and I have to say your photos are swaying me to say Thailand!
Congratulations! It looks so beautiful! May I ask, which wedding planner or company did you work with?
I LOVE LOVE LOVE that ceremony venue!!!
@Garden bride: Thanks so much!
@Olive12:I am a big fan of thailand after going, it was such an experience to say the least. Some areas are just crazy, alot of partying and I’ve definately seen things I’ve never seen before. Railay Beach where we got married though is really relaxing and unbelievably gorgeous. You can only access it by boat, which kind of adds to the cool factor, when our whole group arrived by speedboat,everyone was amazed, cause it is cut off by limestone cliffs. We traveled all over southern thailand, a lot of it is beach area, so if you looking for sun, affordable luxury beach areas, thailand is definately the place. Europe is a totally different experience,an awesome one, but 2 different worlds really.
@thelawwon: Thanks! I originally planned the wedding there specifically because of the limestone cliff cave that the venue where we had the ceremony had. The resort is called Rayavadee,which is the most amazing resort I have ever stayed at. It did come with a price though. The wedding itself was really affordable, it was the hotel stay that was the biggest amount we had to pay, as they make you stay 7 nights there at a high price in order to have the wedding there. It is funny because while working with them I was somewhat frustrated with their response time with things, but when we got there, they were amazingly attentive and definately came thru with many of the details that we worked out prior. I did bring alot of things with me, such as the linens and favors and details, because their standard wedding is definately different than what I envisioned, 5 suitcases later…. 🙂 Because the area is in a marine park it was difficult to have a DJ, so we actually worked with another wedding planner that planned an afterparty for us in the Jungle! She has her own wedding planning service, and can handle the details of the ceremony, her website is tropicalweddingsthailand.com, and her name is Lesley.
@adnama: Thanks much! I loved it too, it definately sold me to have my wedding there!
Wow! This is beyond gorgeous! You are a lucky lady!
