The house that we are buying has 2 bathrooms. currently, I’m registered for in my main bathroom: 6 bath towels, 4 hand towels, 4 wash clothes, and 1 bath rug. For my guest bath I have 2 wash clothes, 2 hand towels, 4 bath towels, and 1 bath rug.
The bathrooms are different colors, so they aren’t going to be used for both. Is that too much? Or can you really never have too many towels? and all of the stuff to my main bathroom was already bought off the registry, so I can’t change that. So do I have too much for the guest one? I never lived outside of my parents home, so that’s why I’m asking.

@FoxyBride14: I think you register based off how many guests you have, not how many rooms you have.

@FoxyBride14: how often will you have guests? And when you have them, how many will you have? We have had up to four people visiting at once for a few days so we have eight towels in the guest bathroom so they can use a new towel if they choose. I would say what you have for the guest bathroom now is only good for two guests at a time so if you plan on having more I would register for more.
I also think that if you have the space you can’t have too many towels 🙂

@MrsBeck: probably two guests? I mean, I really dont know. We probably won’t have a lot of guests, but I figured I do need two sets of towels for that bathroom regardless. When we have kids, I was planning on using the second bathroom as theirs. So we would be using both down the road.
The part about never having too many towels is true, though. We will have two linen closets, so I would have the room. Maybe I’ll add 2 more towels and get 6.

I think that as long as you have the space to store them all, it doesn’t hurt to register for them!
