Hi Bees,
3 weeks ago I suffered my second loss. Both pregnancies I saw strong heartbeats and my losses occured at the same gestational age (10w7d). It is absolutly devistating – DH and I want a baby more then anything.
My family doctor referred us to the fertility clinic for further investigation. She told us it was a 4 month wait, but they called yesterday and booked us in for next week! I am so happy to finally get some answers (I hope).
Has anyone ever experienced losses at the same gestational age? Have you been referred to the clinc? What kind of tests do they perform?

FutureMrsW2015 : They will likely run basic hormone and recurrent pregnacy loss (PRL) tests. Ask about immunity blood test and blood clotting disorder testing too if that doesnt come up.
This was from my RE about blood clotting disorder (thrombophilia): Some people have an underlying predisposition to form abnormal blood clots and these conditions can increase the risk of experiencing late first trimester miscarriages. The usual pattern is that the embryonic growth is perfectly on track at 6 and 8 weeks but suddenly the heartbeat is lost around the 10th week.

pinkshoes : Wow, thank you. I wouldn’t be surprised if I have that. I have seen heartbeats with both pregnancies at 6 and 8 weeks, all of them very strong, and then all of a sudden it happens
