my suggestion? 3ct.  This is a 3ct FB on a size 7 and it’s perfect finger coverage IMO.

Mine is a 2.50 ct. oval. I still have a lot of finger space around the diamond. I have a size 4.5 finger with a think band.  There are days when it looks small to me , and other days when I think it’s substantial (lighting makes a difference). I wouldn’t go larger, unless it was a cushion, asscher etc. I’ve attached close up vs. far away.

I have the sol011 with an 8mm colorless f1 h&a. . The only difference is I have a 2mm domed band on mine instead of the normal 2.5 mm band that it comes with. I’m size 9.5 –

If you like big solitaires, I agree with marriedalready69, go for the 3ct! I looked at 8mm stones and they just didn’t do it for me size-wise. Also like another PP said, some days it will look smaller to you. Here is my 9.95mm moissanite, size 4.25 finger:

Mine is a 1.75 carat diamond but I have a size 4.25 finger so coverage should be similar!

I had 2 OEC moissy rings to use for travel… an 8 mm and a 9 mm.   I ended up selling the 9 mm because I kept reaching for the 8 mm one to take on trips. But I am a size 5 and I think with a size 7 finger you should do the 8.5 mm.  Here are pics of mine for reference… πŸ™‚

always the larger option.  3ct is even better imo.  πŸ™‚

All of these rings are so beautiful!

OP- I think you should also take into account that a larger stone is going to sit up higher on your finger. I had my band modified to sit as low as possible because I kept bumping my original solitaire on things.
