It’s your choice and if you have the money it doesn’t really matter what the guests think.
I totally understand how you feel!! But I do also fear guests will sort of scoff at the whole thing, or they may just think you have two cheap gowns. I am not a 2 dres bride yet but considering it also.
@Dsquared:That’s what I keep telling myself! The only reason we’d be able to do it is because I got an amazing deal on the first dress. Everyone keeps telling me to choose one but I feel like I’d regret losing out on either of them.
Good luck in your decision too!!
@CatyLady:Yes! I just checked out that thread and saw it! We are SOOOO close! I was planning on posting a thread to you that we have less than 4 months left!!! YAY!!!
I looooooooove the Vera! I really would like to get married in the ivory dress though. My Future Mother-In-Law and FI’s aunt both think people would think it was odd if I had 2 dresses. I just feel like I’ll never have the chance to wear a dress like the Vera again. Idk what to do lol
I changed dresses and I’m sure some people thought it was over the top. I’m sure I would’ve too before I got myself in that mess, LOL. I didn’t care too much, I know they’re my friends and family so if they made fun of me it wouldn’t be mean spirited. Only joking comment I got was “felt like a Hollywood star’s wedding with the multiple dresses”. It’s your wedding so do what makes you feel best.
@meliss:Thanks! My sister and I were talking about it this past weekend and we were talking about how it seems more and more logical the more we think about it. Before I tried on the second dress I fell in love with I didn’t think it made much sense to do either haha.
