Went to David’s Bridal last weekend, and fell in love with 2 styles.
My wedding venue is very rustic, we’re having our ceremony by the water, our guests will be sitting on benches, we’re serving lemonade in mason jars at cocktail hour, etc. so you see the style we’re going for.
Dress #1, is all lace, and I love it. The sample size was 2 sizes too small, so it doesnt fit properly. I would also add a flower to the waist, or a coloured belt also with flowers. I’m not wearing the slip underneath in the picture, but it did add a little bit of width to the bottom.
Dress #2, is taffeta, but not the crunchy kind so its very soft almost like cotton. The sample size was exactly my size, so it fits perfectly. This one was my mom’s, dad’s and sisters’ favourite. But, I’m not sure dress #2 is right for my venue and wedding style…
I want you opinions, which one you like better and why?

Dress 1 is by far the stunner! I love it!

I have to say I’m with your family on this one…just looking at the pictures, I like the second dress the best! However, what is most important is how YOU feel in the two dresses…follow your heart. 🙂 If you are happy with your choice, it will show through and you will be beautiful in whichever dress you choose!

Both look great on you, but I’m not really a fan of the bottom of dress #2, so my vote is for dress #1.

#1!! It looks beautiful on you and definitely goes better with your theme

@celticbride: Exactly, I love the top, but not a huge fan of the pick ups…

HANDS DOWN, dress #2- I think the lines kind of have no direction on the first dress, whereas on the second dress the lines meet at a point and cinch together to flatter your figure and make your waist look tiny!

The lace one by a mile. It’s special and so pretty. I love it. The second one is a run of the mill wedding dress that you see everywhere.

While they are both stunning, and compliment you very well, number 1 looks more appopriate for a unique, outdoor wedding.

both are beautiful.. but on you, dress 2 is a winner!!

I voted for #2, but I would definitely like #1 more if it had a different sash/belt.

@Britt_RN: A little bit of photoshop later, here is what I would like as a sash… our wedding colors are grey and yellow.

I LOVE the second dress on you! I think it would still be okay to wear for a rustic wedding.
