SO, I went dress shopping for the first time this past weekend! We were supposed to go up to the Brides Against Breast Cancer headquarters, which is like an hour or so north of us, BUT it was super stormy, so we just went made a last minute trip to David’s Bridal since we all had our heart set on doing dress shopping. I tried on about 5 dresses there, and found one i absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE. And, as an added bonus it’s within the price range I would ideally LIKE to stay in… However, I feel like I shouldn’t buy it just yet, as it was only my first time shopping. I’ve been seriously obsessed with it though and stalking it on the internet the past few days LOL! I have an appointment at another bridal shop this weekend, but I am SOOOO very tempted to blow it off and just buy the other dress, ESPECIALLY considering it’s $100 off until tomorrow at DB. Wondering if anyone has boughten one of the first dresses they tried on and ended up with dress regret, OR still love it to this day!!
ALSO, I’m normally a size 12. I just had a baby 3 mos ago so was a size 14-16 while dress shopping at DB. With the dress I fell in love with, I tried on a 14, which was a little tight in the back, so I tried on a 14w, which was better. BUT — I’ve been continuously dropping weight since I gave birht, and certainly plan on being much more toned come March when we get married, so IF I do buy the dress, should I even get the 14w?? By The Way, it’s a corset back so can be adjusted relatively easily to add a lil more room. And does anyone know what exactly the difference between a 14 and a 14w is. The sales person didn’t really explain it that well??
