My wedding is just 52 days away and I have been feeling awful this week! I have been up the past few nights with my Irritable Bowel Syndrome the worst it has been in months!! I havn’t eaten anyting different or anything like that and I dont ahve any stress at work or anything. I feel so crappy today I just want to go to bed and get some sleep!!! Any other Bees have IBS? Does it bother you when you have something cominh up or because of stress? I also think the constant weather changes give me symptoms as well.Ughhhhh I just want the wedding to be over if I feel like this up until the day lol

IBS sucks!! I get it every time I have anything stressful coming up. Are you sure it’s not a food trigger? When I am busy and have less time to cook, I often resort to frozen dinners, some of which have nitrates or similar preservatives that give me stomach issues when I eat too many in a row. Also, weirdly, milk doesn’t normally bother me, but when I’m stressed out, it causes loose stools and cramps (TMI, sorry)…so it’s almost like I have to watch what I eat more so than usual when I’m anxious. Keep a food diary just in case, and try a massage or pedicure to relieve stress. Good luck!

@CandieC88: Thanks so much for the advice and support! I have been eating cheese lately without it bugging me but that might be my trigger right now because of the stress so I’m going to try and cut it out of my lunch sandwich today and see what happens cause I have been experincing alot of gas and cramps 🙁 I’m going to see if it is anything else I have been eating lately cause its true that they can start to bug you more when the stress kicks in!

Caffeine, fats, dairy, nerves and stress definately makes things worse for me. If I have an important event coming up, I always take 2 Immodium the night before which works wonders for me. Would that help you? Sorry you are feeling so crappy!
