    Find a good seamstress (not a salon} and price alterations. I think that will be your cheapest option.

    A good seamstress can almost always alter a dress down a couple sizes!

    Just get it altered.  Make sure to do your research and read the reviews of the seamstress first.  And by the way, congrats on your weight loss!  I’m struggling to lose 10lbs!

    @techprincesse:  That is awesome, now you have options!

     

    I ended up with 4 gowns (well 5 but I quickly resold it).  I couldn’t decide and I had a fashion show for some friends to help me decide. I thought I wanted the ballgown, but the Aline was much more flattering on my figure.  I am reselling the rest.  One to go now.

    I agree a great seamstress will make the dress you love most fit like a dream.
