I am thinking about getting this wedding band set to go with my Engagement Ring. I never thought I would go for 2 bands but after searching for some time for a wedding band that matched or even looked nice with my Engagement Ring I was close to giving up…until I went to a jewelery shop last week and she suggested a band either side! Genius!
The bands are plain white gold and slightly slanted away from the e-ring so it looks really nice. I am just worried it looks like too much ring if you know what I mean, any thoughts or feedback from brides who will/do have 3 rings is greatly appreciated-or if you just think it looks nice let me know-I am horrible at making decisions!
sorry for teh size of the pictures

@emskins: I think it gives the ring a channel look! I like it.

I think it’s too distracting. it drowns out the e-ring.

It is different, but I think it may distract from the e-ring.
Had you thought of getting two thin diamond bands? One for either side?
Anyway- if you love the look, then get them! It has to please you aesthetically, not us : )

thanks ladies, I am going to the shop today to try it on again, I will see what they have in the way of thin diamond bands too.
I only have 3 weeks until we fly out for our wedding so I may not even have time to order a ring in….why did I leave it soo late!

It looks like why too much. It takes away from your e-ring. I think the bands are too wide.

awwww now I am confused! didnt make it to the shop today to try it on again. I am freaking out now that I have left it too late!
I really liked the look of them together better than a single band but like some of you say it may take away from my E ring….too many choices

I agree with the PPs. The double bands are a bit too wide. They overwhelm your beautiful Engagement Ring.

I think you should just have one band, unless you can get them thinner. You can always add another on an anniversary or another time.

I am a BIG fan of two bands but those are too wide, get some thin bands if you can, plus it will be cheaper!! 🙂

@emskins: I am totally supportive of getting two bands (the more jewelry the better right?) however I do agree with the PP that all that metal on each side takes away for the beauty of your E-Ring.
I would have to agree with previous suggestions to perhaps look into thinner metal bands or possibly thin diamond bands. You want the bands to compliment your E-Ring and not complete.
I opted for the same set up and went with the ‘medium’ diamond size of the three options as I felt the larger size took away from the main diamond.

I don’t think the bands compete with or overwhelm your E-ring- I think they frame it and showcase it to perfection- like the effect kohl eyeliner has. I think it’s stunning and dramatic.

I think those particular bands are overpowering. Do they have bands maybe 1/2 that size?
