    1)  Your dress is GORGEOUS.  Very ethereal.

    2)  I think suits or tuxes would both go well with the dress, it depends on how you want the rest of the wedding to look/feel and how you accessorize.

Go with a suit if you want a less formal wedding and tux if you want a more formal wedding.  Either way, lovely dress!  Who made it?

The guys might be dying in the heat if you put them in dark suits or tuxes.  Have you considered something like tan or linen?

Is it just the ceremony that is outside?  What about photos?  What does your Fiance think? What does he want to wear?

I’m wearing a (kind of) similar dress, in a garden wedding at 2:30 and was planning on dressing the guys in tuxes.

First, LOVE the dress, SO romantic!

About your question, I’m a bit more of a “rebel” (our reception is SO not traditional), so I may be in the minority here, but I’d go with something light & comfortable for the guys (NOT tuxes…unless your guys are very comfortable in tuxes, some guys are…none that I know personally, tho’).  If the feel of your wedding leans more towards the formal side, I’d say go with dark suits.  If you’re going for more garden wedding, I’d go with gray suits (a little less formal, lighter in color & weight, but NOT khakis…and kind of a hip color choice right now).  A blue blazer & khakis is a very preppy look, if you’re into that, & may be more comfortable (when a guy takes off his blazer, as he will in heat, a shirt & tie with khakis looks less like catering waiter than a shirt, black tie & black pants).  But I like my gray suit idea (tooting own horn).

Your dress is so pretty!! I voted for suits though… only because of the time of day! In my head, I can only picture tuxes during an evening wedding! I went to an afternoon outdoor wedding where the groom was wearing tails (!) & he looked so out of place. I think a nice suit on your guys would look fabulous 🙂

gorgeous dress deserves a gorgeous escort, how about tux for the groom and suits for the groomsman? After the ceremony, let the groom and Groomsmen take off the jackets, just make sure that they have a nice vest under so it still look distinguished with their tux/suits.

Your dress is beautiful!  How about gray or tan suits?  I looove groomsmen in gray.  Black might be too formal/hot for a outdoor day wedding.
