No where! Ha – guess I’m not good at conversing on this topic.

We’re waiting until we’re done this school term before we really plan (he graduates this spring!), but we’re planning for “early 2014”, and the furthest we’ve gotten on planning is “it won’t be in Canada” (where we live). Oh, and he’s chosen his groomspen, I’ve chosen one lady so far to stand with me. ๐Ÿ™ it’s tough to choose.

Doesn’t mean I don’t scour pinterest for wedding-related stuff ๐Ÿ™‚

@HisNightOwl2014:  We got engaged on Feb 8, 2013, so I’ve hardly had time to process ๐Ÿ˜› I tried on a white dress just for fun – decided my boobs were too small and just went home LOL.

I’ve ordered my dress (in january) and went to see a possible venue today. Hopefully we will pick a place soon and I can start thinking about decorating

@HisNightOwl2014:  I am not really getting anywhere.  I have been “window shopping”, dresses.  I am planning on the next couple of weeks putting a deposit on our venue.  That is as far as we have got.  But it pretty hard for us since we both work (60-70 hours a week) all the time, and spare time is usually spent resting.

We are having a Destination Wedding in May 2014, so end of April beginning of May (this year) we are going to the loacale to shop for our next big purchase photog.  I am really not sure how all this planning stuff is supposed to go.  So I am sure that at the last minute will we be all crazy running around trying to get it all finished.  I hope to start dress shopping in May…..but we will see if our schedules permit.

been engaged nearly a year, wedding is still 15mths away. Got most of the main things covered: ceremony & reception locations, photog, officiant, got the bridal party picked, make up, hair, bouquets, cake maker & got the supplies for Save-The-Date Cards & invites. Saw a dress I like but not ordering til October-ish.

Feel pretty good!

Bride Attire :

Tiara, clutch, money bag.

Bridesmaid Attire :

Grooms Attire :

Groomsman Attire :

I feel like we have a pretty good dent of things already, we plan to have everything paid off by the end of this year.

Our budget is currently $21,000 – but we are trying to spend the least amount we can while still getting our dream wedding. Each time I find a super great deal on things we need, our budget comes down!

Up next I’m still trying to decide if I want real or fake flowers. I love real flowers, but I also want to keep my bouquets.

I’m currently thinking this set, if I go artificial :

This week I’ll be ordering the rest of the things we need for the candy buffet, which is basically some more containers, and plates, maybe some trays as well. Also a cake pop stand.

All I have done is hire a planner! We live abroad but getting married in our home country so we are going home in June for 4 days to book everything! I am so worried about picking a dress and venue in such a short time period!

@jenilynevette:  I love those flowers and colours! They look awesome!

@shaney:  I’m seriously thinking about them. I previously ordered a 14 piece set from another buyer and they turned out HORRIBLE. So SO bad. If I go through with it, I’m praying these come out alot better!

@shaney:  We’ve been on it for about 2 months, so I feel like we have a pretty good chunk done in that time.. I REALLY love the budget calculator on weddingwire.com it’s seriously great. I can keep track of every cent I spent, and on what. REALLY helps when I can’t remember what I purchased already!
