I’m the new girl here but after drooling over all these dresses I just had to share mine! It’s a much older Kenneth pool design I’m having a similar replica made in China, just paid my deposit and waiting on fabric samples now! Can’t wait to see it come together!

Hi there! New here. Here’s my gown I just got from BHLDN for my October mountain elopement. I thought I wanted something more boho but the color of this and the train had me! I’m so excited to get alterations! I got a cute beaded capulet to go with it and plan on wearing suede booties.

megkate87 : My wedding is in September as well!
I’ve waiting as long as I think I can mentally and physically, although the weight change (gain or lose) does scare me (hence why I’ve waiting as long as I have), I know I need to get the ball rolling especially since the place I plan to get mine from (Tiffany’s Bridal) implies that the dress could take 4-6 months to arrive once ordered. I have been looking on their website and I have it narrowed down to about 4 dresses I like all by designer Stella York. I have an appointment this Friday to hopefully try them on! 🙂 Super excited, but scared at the same time, I never thought I would be shopping for my own wedding dress! I mean we all kind of dream about it, but when it actually happens it’s so surreal.

I like! I’m thinking of going for a shorter dress as well for various reasons:
-I’m super clumsy and will trip over my own dress I just know it!
-Makes Dancing Easier!
-It’s unique, and I want to be slightly different.

I found my dress at David’s bridal and I believe it’s still on sale for $600! It’s a two piece dress and I find it very flattering for my body type. It’s super fun and funky so it’s perfect for our backyard wedding.

megkate87 : I’ll play! WOW, so many gorgeous gowns on this thread. I’m wearing Oblea by Pronovias, I think it’s been discontinued. It’s white with two layers of powder blue tulle. The blue really makes it a very special gown! Sorry if pics are too big.
