We’re looking at engagement rings, but we have a fairly low budget, and I prefer smaller/more delicate looking Rings anyways. I’m just curious to see similar looks and get ideas!

Mine isn’t a solitaire, but its around .26 ct total, I think, .2 ct center, size 4.5.
I’ve been seeing adds in the side bar or whatever it is on here for ice.com, they have some nice reasonably priced rings.
Its a size 6 ring – so I have to wear it on my middle finger
If you don’t mind the idea, definitely go second hand. My fiancé and I got my promise ring .5 carat solitaire for less than $400! It’s an amazing diamond: VVS2, E/F. We loved it so much we set it into my engagement ring. My ring size is much smaller than what you’re looking for (2.75), but I always love passing along my story to others aee searching for a good deal!
diamondbistro has some. Your local pawn shops, antique stores have them. There’s also some real beauties on etsy.
My then fiance had a small budget and he bought my 1/2 carat black diamond solitare.
This is comparing a .25 ct to a .33 ct on a ring size 5.5. I changed the band size to 1mm ๐ diamdb.com
Seconding second hand! ๐
My ring has a 0.15 diamond, size 5,5ish, so I’m not posting a picture, but it cost 160€ in 14k white gold. The stone is about a J in colour, but it looks white to me, and the cut is excellent (the best cut is culled “Brillant” in German.) It sparkles like crazy and I really don’t find it too small. I like delicate jewellery, like you, and have never felt out of place with my ring.
A little different but would probably appear a similar size on your finger.. This is my .42 carat on size 6 finger. ๐
