groom’s suit/tux? bridesmaids/groomsman gifts? parent gifts? favors? officiant? rehearsal dinner? rings?

Are you having any other decor or centerpieces or is that included? Are you having favors or videographer? That seems like a ridiculous bar set up fee but there’s probably not much you can do about it. What about accomodations for the night of? I would also include tipping in your budget. Are you having a limo or any other transportation? What about the officiant?

@ohmariemarie: thanks !
grooms tux – free with other rentals
Maid/Matron of Honor gift – 200
officiant – included in venue
not having favors
only doing a gidt for mt dad. Need to think about that
rings – not included in wedding budget
totally forgot about rehearsal dinner!

@MrsN14: Decora included, the tent comes with tulle and lighting
my Maid/Matron of Honor and I have about 120 different vases so just putting fake flowers with water and candles in vases
cant afford video and I know about the bar set up! They are the cheapest venue in town but I wish we just decided to go out the the desert to be married and then hosted the reception at a resaurant
we’re not having a limo, I’m getting ready at our house and Maid/Matron of Honor is driving us and Fiance best man is gifting a hotel room for them the night before and to get ready in.
honeymoon and rings aren’t being counted into wedding budget

I know you said this is basic, but I’m surprised by 1000 for cake and 1000 for invitations! That must be an awesome cake!!! Does the 2500 for dress include alterations?
@love108: the cake is the only thing Fiance asked for. The guys has done 3 of his friends weddings so he really wants him to do it so we splurged 🙂
Im planing on invites from wedding paper divas so for invites, place cards, stds, and thank you it looks like it’s going to be 600. Guessed on postage of 400? I’m still looking around at self printable invites to bring that cost down
and yes the dress cost includes alterations 🙂 the dress is my splurge and I’ll sell it after hopefully

@Allyg: I’ve seen some great options that are printed for you on etsy that you might be able to do better cost wise.
@love108: and I think I can take out the 200 for undergarments. Cups are being sewn in and it’s a think dress so I can just wear spanx under that I already have
Post # 12
@Allyg: Did you incluse alterations with the dress budget? Might sound silly, but I didn’t. There was another $500.
@Allyg: Oops—didn’t see that YES, it includes alterations. My bad.
@Allyg: It definitely adds up quickly! Even using coupons and buying stuff only when it was on sale our entire wedding is going to cost about $30,000. We are having about 250 people. After my wedding is done I’m going to add up all my receipts to see exactly how much everything costs.
