I’m 25 and just conceived my second child in 6 months. I skipped a couple periods though so it was only 3-4 cycles.

First child I conceived at 23 but she was a bit of a shock.

I should mention, as my periods were irregular, I used opks, charting and soyiso the final cycle which I conceived on.

MrsAlvey:  I’m 27 and got my BFP after 3 months of actively TTC. Wasn’t a sticky baby though. It was also my first month using OPKs. I was ovulating a few days after my app told me I was so I’d definitely recommend OPKs!

MrsAlvey:  I’m 25 and we’ve been TTC since August ’14. I just added OPK’s this cycle, but have been charting since the beginning. My story’s a little different though because I have some health problems that make concieving difficult to begin with. I hope your cycle evens out quickly and you get a BFP very quickly!

Me and DH started trying the month before I turned 21. He was 23 at the time. We each had our birthdays over the 6 cycles it took us to conceive. 6 months felt like an eternity when we were trying. Lots of tears, lots of stress and frustration, but now I’m halfway through my pregnancy and I realize that six months was no time at all. Good luck to you!

MrsAlvey:  I conceived within the first month of going off long-term birth control (was on the pill for over 10 years). Good luck! I kept hearing that it takes a while for your cycle to regulate if you were on BC but my OB told me that’s not true. Hope you get your BFP soon 🙂

I’m like super fertile.

Once I was 23, I conceived while the person was wearing condoms and I’m on the pill.  True story.

Then I was 27, I conceived while I was on the pill.  Yep.

Pretty much I just hate birth control companies LOL.

I wish I’m more helpful.  Good luck OP!

I don’t think age, specifically has anything to do with how long it will take. With my first pregnancy at 35, it took 2 months. That one unfortunately ended in MC. I got pregnant again after 4 cycles, and had my son. At 37, I got pregnant the first cycle of trying and am now 13 weeks pregnant.

I was 32 and DH was 34 we conceived on the second cycle. I was off bc for a year prior to TTC though.
