I don’t think age has much to do with conceiving up to a certain point. With my first, I was 26 and got pregnant the first time Darling Husband didn’t pull out. I’m 29 now, and I just got my BFP for baby #2 after one cycle of trying. I’ve never been on hormonal BC in my life, although I’m not sure it matters.

Your age doesn’t have much to do with it if you are under 35 unless you have known health issues, DOR, or PCOS. As long as you are healthy and ovulating, the chances of conception whether you are 25 or 34 are generally the same. For what it’s worth, I am 31 and on cycle 10 with one chemical pregnancy.

I’m 25. Got off BC in January ’14. Started charting to avoid had two cycles between Feb and June. We started trying in July and luckily got pregnant on the first try, due any day now.

I’m 26. We got pregnant the first time on our second cycle, but unfortuntately, that ended in a miscarriage. Just found out I’m pregnant again. It was our first cycle trying after my MC. Hopefully, this baby sticks around. Good luck! I totally agree with other ladies. I charted for 9 months and stopped when TTC, but still used OPKs and monitored CM. Knowing and trusting your body is important.

How did you conceive with a condom and on the pill? That is just crazy!

To this day, I do not know. I have a few theories, mostly that I actually do not do well with “pill” form BCs. Also that condoms that’s been in a wallet for months actually stretch and break. Yeah. Happy to have my kids though 🙂
