Jeez this pregnancy has been a pain in the butt. I have just found out that I have my third uti so far and its driving me crazy!! Waiting to talk to the specialist to decide what to do next as the usual antibiotics seem to be doing nothing to help. Apparantly uti’s are common in pregnancy I just hope it doesnt cause any issues with the little one 🙁
Anyone else experienced this during pregnancy?

Yep I had a uti a few months ago. Currently 39 weeks pregnant. Had a round of macrobid and cleared it up. Normally I have 4-6 uti per year but so far that was the only one. I’m sorry you have to deal with this on top of being pregnant. Even “easy” pregnancies are hard!

Thanks 🙂 Wow youre on the home stretch! Hmm, Ive always been given ceflex, maybe Im resisitent to it and need to try a different one.
I know, it’s funny with my first pregnancy I loved it, I guess because I didnt have any other kids and I was studying not working, I could just enjoy it, relax and sleep when i needed to. I remember other womean would say “What the hell do you mean you love being pregnant it sucks!!” Now pregnant with my third and I realise what all the fuss is about, it really is a pain sometimes! But all worth it in the end 🙂

i really feel for you! I had a UTI when i was pregnant. It wasnt picked up in my sample at my rountine appointment but was detected the same day at an emergency (unrelated to the UTI) hospital appointment later the same day. my biggest concern was that I was told that it can bring on labour. very common to get them but it is miserable but at least they are looking after you. hope you feel better soon.

Thats what scares me most especially because I feel like this baby is already sitting so low I am always worrying that he will be arriving early.
