I am really concerned about this. I paid a deposit aand have not yet received my contract but upon review it appears that reviews were created, often on the same date and usually a year or so after the wedding.  Anyone have any info on this DJ/Company???

@garlandlygil:  Thanks for the response! I do like the play list options they offer online. Am just not used to a vendor with so little contact. Though our wedding isnt until 5/4/14 so maybe I am just rushing it. What kind of music did you have? Did 2dog provide ceremony and cocktail hour music? Did you use their lighting options? and finally, did you do a venue walkthrough with them prior to the wedding?

@janessajussen:  Hi! Basically, what happened was, Marty will contact you about 2months before your wedding to set a consultation. depending on your availability, that consultation will happen about 4-6 weeks before your wedding. He will ask you what your style or general theme you want to convey throughout your wedding. i just told him romantic but fun. this consultation is very detailed, he will ask you what kind of music you want for ceremony, any specific songs you want to be played for procession, you walking down the aisle, and the recessional. i had no particular music in mind for ceremony, but i did ask for one specific song as i am walking down the aisle. no exaggeration, he nailed it. everyone said the ceremony music was not stuffy, but solemn enough, and it set the mood for our reception which i tell you was sooo much fun.

I just gave him a bunch of must play and do not play list for the cocktail and reception, and he went from there. He is very good with reading the crowd. Our dance floor was full all night.

We did use their lighting. The uplights they use are topnotch, the ballroom was pretty much washed with our choice of color.

We didn’t have a walk through. I just didn’t think I need to do that with them. Marty is self sufficient; he contacted the venue and would take care of logistics on his own… But i guess you can request to do that, and maybe have him present at the rehearsal so he can time your march and all that… i just dont know if that would be extra.

Ok, I hope this helps Laughing
