If you don’t plan to wear your engagement ring on your left hand along with your band then I’d definitely go for the 3mm.

webee2 :  Hi. Is this going To be a standalone ring or worn with another ring? I think it would really matter on if it is a standalone or if you are wearing it with another ring as a set what the width is of the other ring is. If you are thinking of pairing it up please post a pic of the other ring so we can help you better.

I like the 3mm. More of a classic wedding band look.

webee2 :  Since it’s going to be a standalone ring, I vote for 3mm! It’s substantial enough to stand on it’s own. My band is 3mm and I love how it looks alone as well as with my e-ring. I am also close in size to you. I am a 4.5 and my rings are sized at 4.75.

Well, for myself I prefer the 2mm because my fingers are short and chubby.  But you have longer slender fingers so either one looks good.  A plus to the 3mm is that it would be slightly sturdier (I would think) because it’s thicker.

My ering is 2mm, middle band is 1mm, and wedding band is 2mm. I personally think a 2mm band will look perfect for you 🙂 Good luck!

I think the 2 mm ring looks better on your hand.

webee2 :  As a standalone hands down the 3mm wins, with your lovely long fingers you could even get away with a 4mm. When I’m doing extremely grungy, active things or traveling I have a 4mm comfort fit band I wear that I love because I never I have worry about it or take it off.

webee2 :  I think even if you go with the 2mm width it still will look very much like a wedding ring and that you are without a doubt a married lady. I think a plain band or wearing a standalone band alone is the clearest statement of marriage. Go with your your gut and you will be sure to love it! Please let us know what you go with.

If I was wearing it alone I’d want the 3mm one – it’s more substantial.

glad you went with the 2mm. It will look better with your small hands. 🙂
