Don’t play stupid child games. You want to talk? Message. Call. Whatever. If he won’t respond then, you’ve got your answer. I don’t care what some people say, all this me first stuff is high school. It only matters if it’s every single contact.

@lilceeja124:  I don’t think enough time has passed for this to be an issue, but prudish as it sounds…the hickey thing rules him out for me. I hate them…REALLY hate them. But that’s just me lol

Yeah, ya lost me at hickey.  I’m pretty sure I was 17 or 18 when I realized how incredibly disrespectful it was to be “marked”  by a guy.

I’m not quite sure this dude can be classified as a “great guy”.  I wouldnt lose sleep over him not calling.  In fact, I would NOT call him and if he finally reaches out, I would tread very carefully.

ETA scratch the treading carefully.  I would most likely ghost this guy.  Your both newly out of LTR and the probability of unresolved baggage is high.  Let the hickey heal and move on.

I’ve never ever had a guy accidentally give me a hickey and I’ve been around the block.  Have you ever done it accidentally? Doubt it.  If I ever saw a grown woman with a hicky I’d kinda judge them. I’d certainly never call a guy again who gave me one.  Throw this one back.

@lilceeja124:  oh Lord girl!  What other meaning can you assign to a man sucking on your skin hard enough to leave a bruise in an area that is visible to your child and your ex other than him marking you?  The more I think about it, the more cringe worthy it is.

The fact is, this is a man that you barely know.  So you were “really annoyed” about the hickey, but are now bemoaning the fact that he hasnt called.

I suggest you raise your standards and find someone who respects you.  This is not a “great guy”.
