@laurelewrigley:  thanks. I changed right before the bouquet toss. I just walked out with one of my BM’s and changed in the bridal room and came back in. When I got to the center of the floor the DJs announced it was time for the bouquet toss. It was great timing and after we went right into playing the dance music. People didn’t even notice me slipping out to change bc it took all of 5 minutes to do it.

@laurelewrigley:  Yea I can understand that..but wait until you see them..because I am sure its something the can easily be removed if you dont like.  but i think they are going to be gorgeous!!!  When I saw your sleeves post, I was thinking of adding sleeves like this on to a strapless dress…that i hoping to decide purchase soon!!  Not sure how it would work in practices tho so was hoping to see if someone had done it :S

I think definetly a 2nd dress is the way to go, i have friends who are like i want to wear my wedding dress all day, not me! I want to relax and dance for the reception so i’m changing. i love that lace dress with the split, really beautiful and elegant! Right choice girl!

I don’t understand the whole two dresses thing. You only have one day to wear your dream dress.

@laurelewrigley:  Hmmm…I’m not loving this. I personally don’t really get the justification for buying two wedding dresses. How workable your dress is for doing stuff like walking and dancing should be something you consider before you even buy it. I also just don’t really think it’s appropriate for a wedding dress, the big slit just makes me think of lingerie…
