I think it’s perfectly acceptable. It’s a different ring for a different engagement/relationship. It’s normal you’d like to keep and reset your family heirlooms. I would do the same if I were in your shoes.

I think as long as both you and your significant other are comfortable with reusing the stones then it’s no problem!

Yes..I think it is! ..they are your family’s diamonds not your exhusbands family’s..use them as you want!

Tracybee417:  Absolutely! The way I see it, your first/ex husband didn’t gift you those diamonds…they are and will always be yours and a part of your family forever 🙂
