I wore thick soled flip flops as a bridesmaid. They were pretty uglpy, but kept me from tripping all over my dress as I was dancing, since my heels were 3" heels.

My wedding shoes are 3.5" and I really want the height since I’m a shortie. So I’m thinking that wedge flip flops might be a good idea, as long as they are comfortable. Has anyone found a cute pair of these?

I need to find something that gives me height and is comfy.  I may do the ballet thing for the ceremony, but I am too short to dance with him in those!

I’m torn in the shoe department. I really want to have comfy shoes on the entire time but I also want to find the perfect pair of purple heels. Fashion or comfort? I just can’t decide!

I have a comfy pair of shoes I’ve had forever that are blue and brown, close to the wedding colors. So I plan on wearing those at the reception if my heels start to bother me

I’m wearing ivory silk satin Badgley Mischka heels (picked up at Off Fifth for $40!) during the ceremony but then switching to professional ballroom dancing shoes in white satin that I added silk flower shoe clips on for the rest of the reception.
I figure if professional dancers can do crazy things in these shoes, then I can certainly shake my boody in them all night!

I am wearing ivory strappy heels for the ceremony that I’m going to make cuter with a silk orchid. I also want a pair of bright yellow peeptoes to take some pictures in and then my "my feet are killing me, I can’t be fashionable anymore shoes" are these from jcrew, in gold. http://www.jcrew.com/AST/Browse/WomenBrowse/Women_Shop_By_Category/shoes/flipflops/PRDOVR~12499/99101667061/12499.jsp’ defer=’defer

Are they too casual?! I am getting married in Hawaii, but I am wearing a gown. I guess you won’t really see them though?

My heels for the ceremony are like 3 1/2 inch heels….so i did buy some cute flats for the reception….although I’m worried about the whole dress dragging thing.

I would buy wedge heeled flip flops, but I swear any time I’ve ever worn that type of flip flop, I almost kill myself! I can’t walk in them very well for some reason…

I have 3 1/2 inch heels, and then for the reception, I’m changing into 3 1/2 inch wedge flip flops.

I bought them on Victorias Secret website – and they are SUPER comfortable. I can’t find them on the site anymore – but I did a search for the size heel I wanted on google and found them.  I found a few other pairs as well, but these were the best deal.

Good luck!

I’m planning on wearing heels for the ceremony (I’m only 4’11 3/4", I need all the height I can get!) but I’m searching for a pair of cute Mary Janes for the reception. Love me some Mary Janes!

I’m am not doing two pair of shoes- don’t have the cash.  Instead, I am opting for some reasonably priced ballroom dancing shoes from "Very Fine Dance Shoes".  They have gotten good reviews from other brides and I can fancy them up with some DIY shoe clips.
