Well, i am a 2nd time bride and at my first wedding it was really popular, so i had a white/apple dress. I still like that style but i want to do something different for this one. What do you think? Should i just go plain-jane for this one? Or do you think color is okay? I dont want it to be a look-a-like…What would you do?

When my mom got married for the second time, she wore a gold dress that looked amazing. I think doing a pale or metallic color is a great idea for the 2nd time bride! It’s nice to have so many freedoms for that.

I think color would be great. My mom got remarried when I was about 5 and she wore a black and gold pant suit. (what can I say it was the 80’s)

I agree with ‘Vistagirl’. Wear whatever makes you feel beautiful, it’s still your day. I think a 2nd wedding is a great time to break out of the mold and wear what you want, except the black and gold pantsuit, LOL!
They are also making formal wedding dresses in many colors now, blue, silver, taupe, etc.. My husband and I are planning on renewing our vows after 22 years and I plan on wearing a white flowy organza or choffon dress with bare feet at the beach. I’m obviously going to skip a veil but I will wear flowers in my hair and have my hair down. It’s going to be a cross between formal and exteme casual. What can I say, it will be ‘My’ day again.
Wear what feels right and makes you feel your best!
