I am 18 weeks now, and still throwing up, although I am not sick all day, I still throw up at least once a day. I am also getting horrible headaches, everyday, and a migraine once or twice a week.
I just thought that I would be feeling better by now. With my first pregnancy the morning sickness ended at 12 weeks and I felt great through the second tri.
It is affecting my work, and I barely get anything done at home. I am worried it will be like this my entire pregancy.
I guess I just needed to vent, and see if there is still hope that this pregnancy will get better. I feel awful, I wanted to be pregnant so bad, now I am, and I probably won’t do it again.

futuremrsw26: I’m so sorry! For most moms in my group, it cleared up by 20 weeks (at least until they hit 28 weeks). I am sure it will clear up for you soon!

futuremrsw26: I feel your pain! I’m at 30 weeks and I’m still throwing up. It got a little better toward the later part of 2nd tri, but seemed to get bad again last week. I officially am not a fan of being pregnant! BUT I am super excited to get this little guy here.

I was in your boat. I was sick pretty much every day from 8-10ish weeks until about an hour before she was born. It’s going to take some major convincing to get me to have another.

Thanks everyone, I just really want to feel better and start enjoying my pregnancy. These headaches are so bad, that I struggle to make it through the day. They told me it is hormones, and gave me a RX but I hate taking anything being pregnanty, and even when I do cave and take it, it only works 50% of the time anyway.
We always thought we would have another one after this, but now I am not so sure I want to go through this again

With my first, I was sick every day until I delivered– this time (I am 27 weeks now) same thing– although a friend did suggest accupuncture to me- I tried it and it is helping some (without anything I was sick starting about 11 am, the meds the doc gave me get me to about 2 in the afternoon, with accupuncture I get to 7 or 8 most nights before I feel sick- so it is helping, some)– I was very skeptical, but thought it can’t hurt- so I gave it a shot, and it is helping– some. Just something to think about– good luck!

Morning sickness is terrible. I feel your pain. Every pregnancy is different though so you never know what the next one would be like. But I totally get it and I said the same thing when I was pregnant and sick alllllllll day and alllllll night nonstop for the first 14 weeks. Hopefully you feel better soon

Hang in there, bee. I’m sorry you’re going through this! I’ve been having trouble coping with morning sickness too. I’m 14w5d and while I feel better than I did during the first trimester, I still get headaches and feel sick every so often, to the point where it feels like I have a horrible hangover. I have noticed that the feeling usually comes after eating, but not every time. I think certain foods may be triggering my headaches and nausea. Have you thought about that? I think it is cheese and dairy for me. Maybe keep a food journal and see if certain foods are making you sick. Just a thought. Good luck, and feel better soon!
