Hi There!  I am in the same boat, about 3DPO so can wait with you =)  It’s the worst isn’t it?  I got off BCP in October and have been NTNP, but think we may need to start using OPK’s if the BFP doesn’t come this month.

When are you going to test?

@RedBullFueled:  seriously pathetic 2DPO? try 1DPO!!  i’m planning on testing 10DPO on the 31st, but i’m in my 1st month off BCP so it’s probably way too early for me, but i’m fully prepared for a BFN, just want to know either way!

8dpo myself. Not too hopeful this cycle but it won’t stop me from poas on Friday.

@RedBullFueled:  oh waiting to O was WAY worse! i agree 1/31 will almost definitely be too early for me, and i honestly don’t think there’s much of a chance for me this month, but i figure it’s a good time to start testing, assuming AF hasn’t shown her face. given it’s my first month, i’d actually be almost as happy to see AF, just some normalcy at least!  ok, not happy, but at least relieved, haha.

@RedBullFueled:  It’s for sharing symptoms, charts and temps (if you do that), asking questions, looking for advice, getting to know the other TTC ladies, being able to give and receive support, and mostly just to share your journey with others going through it. Don’t be afraid to jump in with both feet – you’ll find a very warm and welcoming group of ladies there!

UGH 10DPO here and got a BFN this morning. I know I really should wait til Saturday or Monday, but it’s just SO hard…especially when you have a bunch of Walmart $0.88 cheapies! =P

I’m symptom spotting like crazy and making myself nuts! at 6DPO I got one wipe of blood and have had consistent (mild) cramping from 7DPO on. My boobs are fuller/heavier and super sore and my nipples have become engorged and darker in color. If I’m not pregnant, then I just flat out hate my body!!!

I’m also in my 2nd TTC cycle. I either had a chemical last month (first cycle of BCP) or I got a bunch of false positives and a period that was 5 days late….who knows. Kind of hoping it was a chemical, bc that would at least mean I CAN get pregnant….

@RedBullFueled:  EEk I hope so! I got the same nipple symptom last month, too, but it went away right before I started getting all negatives…so hopefully that’s indicative! It was the first month I’ve ever experienced such a weird symptom like that. Even my husband was like…uhhh what’s up with your nipples? LOL

My period was slightly heavier (I have reaaalllyyy light, short periods to begin with), but the big difference was that I had some clotting the first two days and that has never happened to me before. I guess I will never truly know either way, but I’m hoping that it’ll be smooth sailing from here on out. ๐Ÿ˜‰

It has been super hard for me too! This is my first TTC cycle and I am having a very long cycle (I traveled 14 hours out of my time zone, so I knew it would be long, if I O’d at all), I think I may have O’d on CD26, it is currently 2DPO and I’m feeling a bit crampy, so maybe I didn’t O and I’m getting AF on time? All I know is that I’ve been kind of down since the cramps have come. The only silver lining is I have “my ideal day” planned for when I’m 100% sure I’m not pregnant. It involves coffee, diet soda, microwaved popcorn, vigorous exercise, and a stiff manhattan.

@RedBullFueled:  Since you have done some research on exercise during the TWW, what are your general recommendations? I tend to exercise 4-5 times a week in addition to leading a very active lifestyle (walking 5 miles/day, taking the stairs, etc). Thanks!

@RedBullFueled:  well i’m no expert at all, but i’ve been told that if you are active before pregnancy, you can continue to do the same during pregnancy, within limits (listen to your body!)  so i can’t see why the TWW would be any different.  FWIW, i’m continuing to be as active as i always have (which is probably more than most people i know), because 1) i can’t imagine giving it up during every 2WW when i don’t know if there’s any reason to and 2) i’m going to have to slow down a bit when i’m pregnant most likely, so i might as well enjoy it while i can ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m also still drinking a glass of wine here or there, and not giving up things like sushi until i get a BFP. It could be a really long road of TTC, why restrict myself now?!

@KH:  walking is low impact and is recommended during pregnancy so i can’t imagine it’s forbidden during 2WW. i have a friend who walked 4-5 miles every day throughout pregnancy because she couldn’t run anymore.  you and i have similar activity levels it seems, and i’m continuing all of it until my body tells me otherwise!

@esqbee:  I agree with not restricting yourself completelybefore you test. You could get a BFN and not even gotten to have that glass of wine/tea/sushi you wanted.  Of course, everything in moderation when you’re ttc.

I am pretty active as well, and work out 3-4 times a week.  I spin 2x and work out with a PT once or twice a week.  Will probably continue this routine until I can’t physically get myself on a bike!  Will wear a heart monitor of course
