mrssam:  Your ring is GORGEOUS!! It’s so romantic and special that you picked your stone size to match your anniversary. What a cute and fun idea. I love it with the plain band. The whole set looks amazing on your finger. Congrats!!!

You do not need to apologize to the jealous bitches about the first pic…like a pp said, several bees have posted the same damn pic in a ford, Kia, etc and no one ever said anything so there is no difference with yours. And your dog is adorable!

Congrats!!  Absolutely STUNNING!!  I think the most difficult part of choosing a halo setting is the proportions and yours is perfection!  EVERYONE should be able to be excited and share pictures of their eRing (if they choose to) without judgement or negativity, we should all just be happy and congratulatory for all couples embarking on such a wonderful commitment to each other.  Many Posters on this Board enjoy seeing DIFFERENT types of sparklies, if we start being negative about each others’ jewelry it will discourage people from sharing at all.  Rock that gorgeousness with your adorable dog in your awesome car and don’t be afraid to share what you want.  Best wishes!

mrssam:  Just. GORGEOUS!

I think you definitely made the right call by setting it in a halo. That’s what I’m going to do if I ever get an emerald cut.

Emerald cuts tend to flash, where as round brilliants will give you those endless, glittery sparkles. It’s an excellent way to set off a step cut and you get the best of both worlds.

And P.S. I love the plain band with it!

OP… Absolutely beautiful! Wear it in good health!

goldshine:  I disagree. I think a plain band is timeless and classic… as do a lot of married couples.

My husband and I have worn plain gold bands since March 19, 1988. My upgrade engagement ring is on the larger side and kind of “blingy”, the plain band is the perfect complement to it (and the ones that came before).

BRB, pinning to my “Emerald halo porn” board on pinterest lol

Your ring is to die for and I’m jealous, but not in a mean spirited way like other posters haha

If I had a ring like that I’d show it off too ๐Ÿ™‚

mrssam:  That is some seriously beautiful bling. Nevermind the haters of your ring, your car, you’re one lucky lady. You go woman! If I had that ring I’d post it all over too. By The Way we have the same size finger ๐Ÿ™‚
