My favorite color is teal, so I know that has to be one of my colors. I really love Alfred Angelo’s Tealness color for the Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses, with Pistachio trim or sashes. This is an example of how it looks:
But the thing is, there are no really pretty teal flowers (hydrengeas, but I really don’t like them but they are a pale blue). And, I think a pale pink would work well with the deep teal and pale green. So I’d like to do the flowers in a light pink (pale pink carnations) and maybe green.
Like these bunched carnations: http://media.redgaloshes.com/sq/273/021322.jpg
I’m thinking flowers would be pink, maybe a little light green; linens will be white, but have some kind of a deep teal cloth/runner under the flowers; teal pom decorations; I will wear teal shoes and have a pink and green boquet.
I make leather journals and have a lot of this wonderful teal leather, so I’m thinking I’ll make a guestbook and maybe even leather bookmarks for party favors: http://www.etsy.com/listing/31706422/sale-teal-wrap-journal-leather-journal?ga_search_query=teal&ga_search_type=user_shop_ttt_id_6791316
Like this but with a lighter green ribbon:
Our wedding is going to be outdoors, so that way I can also use pink petals along the aisle. The pink will mostly be the flowers, since I don’t know how I’d decorate with just teal and green.
Someone mentioned that 3 colors will be too “confusing” and people won’t be able to tell what our colors are. Do you think this is true?
If I cut it down to just 2, I’d have to pick green over pink (I’m not too crazy about pink, but I love the look of very soft pink carnations)– anyone have examples of teal and green, or just green flower arrangements?
