It feels so good! We paid off our third credit card tonight. Now we just have one left to go and we’ll be out of high interest debt!!
We still have a PLC and student loans to tackle but seeing a payment come off the list feels amazing! (we’re waterfalling – paying off the highest interest and then taking that amount to the next highest and so on until it’s all paid off, we’re at the point where we’re putting really large monthly payments on things so they’re going away quickly).
YAY! Just had to share 😀

awesome!! I am doing the “snowball” method since all my credit cards have low and similar rates. can’t want to get this first one taken care of.

@MsGinkgo: woo hoo! I just paid one off earlier this month!!! One more to go but it will be paid off by December….student loans are another story. Whomp whomp for me.

@GB520: is it sad that I consider my student loans, car loan and mortgage to be less “debt-y” than my credit cards? sometimes I forget I have them…. obviously I still make my payments on time, but they don’t bother nearly as much as the CC debt I am carrying around.
