I stopped taking bc in sept 2015 and dh and i have been ttc since. My cycles have been like clock work since stopping bc down to the hour. I was feeling pretty good about my cycles being so regular after being on bc for 10 years but now i am 3 days late! I was so excited thinking i was actually gonna get my bfp but no luck😳 very discouraging. Does anyone have any ideas of why I may be late after being so regular? I dont have any period symptoms either and i always have symptoms? So confused?

Mrs.Huffman: I have no advice but I’m literally in the same situation as you, down to the date I stopped taking BC. *Internet hug* The only thing I could think of for being a few days late was stress.. I wish I had an answer for you.

You can be regular and still vary by a few days. Anything from stress to exercise can alter your cycle. It’s normal.
I’ve been TTC for 2 years, and haven’t been on BC for over 10 years. My cycles are almost always 28 days, but I randomly have a couple of 32-34 day cycles a year.

You probably ovulated a few days later than normal. Mine are pretty much like clockwork but one month I traveled I ovulated 4 days later than normal.

I agree…you probably ovulated later. I had a super regular 28 day cycle for the first 3-4 months off of birth control, and now my body is slowly ovulating later which is normal for me without birth control. Ovulation can be a finicky thing and vary between cycles too depending if you’re stressed, traveling, etc.
