(Closed) 3″ or 4″ foam balls for DIY pomanders?

I used 4 inch for mine.  I’ve seen poms in 3″ and 5″ – I think it’s your preference since the flowers make them look fuller.  I don’t think going down an inch will be any issue.

I’ve tried them with both 3″ and 4″. I thought the 4″ were too big also and actually the 3″ look bigger once they’re finished.

I used a 3” ball. The 4” were huge! And I made all mine with tissue paper flowers.  They are 4”x10” strips that were used for the flowers.  Here is one that I did for a test run.

I think it depends on the scale of what you’re using them for.  Are you going to have a HUGE church?  If so the larger ones may look really good, however if you will have a smaller ceremony site, then the smaller ball is the way to go… hth

I used a 3 inch ball and with the roses I used they still turned out huge.
