Less than 3 weeks to go and our RSVP deadline was on Monday. As of today there are still 60 people who are MIA and no answer. This seems like a HUGE number. Are there really that many slackers out there?! Our guest list right now is at 135 so if they all say yes we will be pushing 200. A big jump and adjustment!
Does that number seem normal or did you have awesome courteous guests who RSVPd in a timely fashion?

I learned the hard way I gave about the same window of time but probably should of did a full month. You will probably get responses up till a few days before. I would give a few more days then start contacting people. Yes some people just don’t care or forget you know its so hard to walk to the mail box. 60 is a large number I am sure you have to let your vender know your count and you also need to think about your seating chart since you have a large guest list.

@baletrina: I had the exact same thing happen except we were missing 100 RSVPs and were already at our estimated 150 mark. We contacted most of the guest and most declined.

Ugh… Pain in the heiny. We did send out our mother’s to call some of them and are texting/calling/facebooking others. But wow. I expected to have to track down maybe a dozen or so people but 60…
@LovebirdsSC: At lest it wasn’t a 100! GL at your wedding this weekend!
