Okay, good, I wasn’t the only one that threw in a job interview/possible new position in my last minute wedding plans!!  I interviewed last week for a new position, and they think they will make a decision by the end of this week 🙂

I’ve got 16 days, and pretty much all we have left to do is finish the escort cards and the cake topper, I have to finish the jewelry for my bridesmaids, and just getting final payments off to people!  This weekend kind of got shot to hell, it’s my grandmother’s 90th birthday, and also both of our bachelor/bachelorette parties, so not sure how much I’ll actually get done.

@mjwyatt84 I am trying not to freak out.  Maybe because we are only expecting 48 people I’m not that concerned?  My sister is the crafty one in the family so she’s doing a lot of the DIY things.

We aren’t doing bachelor/bachelorette parties.  I am getting my hair cut & colored on the 23rd and we leave on the 25th to the wedding destination.  We will be there the whole week leading up to the wedding and I’m sure that will be frantic.

The good thing is many of our friends are making a vacation out of our wedding and their spring breaks so I should get to see many of them for more than just a day or two!  I’m looking forward to that.

I’m 23 days away! Crazy how quick it snuck up. I was feeling very very stressed last week, but over the weekend my mom got a lot accomplished and tied up all the loose ends and we finalized our ceremony with our Justice of the Peace yesterday.

I think all that’s left to do is: programs, groomsmen gifts, hair/makeup trial and final fitting.

Still waiting on a few things to come in, like parents gifts, his wedding band, etc. but everything has been ordered and should be here in the next week or two!

Good luck girls, don’t forget to take deep breaths and enjoy the last few weeks of planning! 🙂

Goodness girls I’m also getting excited and nervous too! It’s starting to really feel real. 23 days! We still have programs, finish up payments, finish up bridesmaids gifts, do a trial of the centerpieces (I’m making them myself), and try and figure out if there’s any other details I’m forgetting. We have all the main things, but we haven’t had time for tons of little details. I’m in grad school and this is all becoming SO overwhelming! We almost missed the deadline to pay for the florist, I thought it was the day of… I called today about getting them delivered earlier and it’s due on the 4th! Phew! Plus we are moving on the 9th in town, so it’s just insane. Getting married in grad school was probably not one of my brightest ideas!!

@mjwyatt84:  We are date twins!

@JLSQUSL29:  Wow ladies!! I am another March bride right there with you. I applied for a position a week or so ago and they called today to schedule an interview for next week. IF I got the position I would start 2 days after we get back from our honeymoon!!! A little stressful but exciting at the same time.

My bachelorette party starts tomorrow until Sunday– woohoo! Really low key weekend.. We are meeting up at my friend’s house in Greenville, SC tomorrow evening. I haven’t seen a lot of these girls in months (some of them its been like 7-8 months) so tomorrow night we are just doing girls night in/lingerie party (which im not supposed to know about :P) and catching up. Then Saturday, we are going to the zoo, the japanese steakhouse for dinner and then out! Breakfast saturday and then home! Super excited. My bridesmaids are arriving 2 hours early so we can pick out shoes for their dresses.

Next week I am finalizing EVERYTHING with my venue. Now I basically have already done this but we are crossing t’s and dotting I’s. This includes linens, china, silverware, table set up, menu, etc.

We just switched florist last minute (long story) but she is AWESOME. Tomorrow before I leave, I am finalizing everything with her.

Finish pomander balls. I have 6 out of 8 both. Order pictures from shutterfly and put them in frames..

Buy flower girl tiara, Flower Girl Basket, candy for candy buffet..

The following weekend is my hair cut, color and trial.

Next week is my make up trial.

RSVP’s are due back on the 8th. After that, I will make name cards and seating chart.

Oh and on top of all this and a job interview, next week I have midterms (I am in graduate school) AND we are moving into a new condo.. Hectic, hectic schedule.

OMG, ladies!! I’m so glad I’m not the only one with things left to do. I’m in grad school as well, and have 2 big projects due next week. That’s adding a bit of stress to these last few weeks before the wedding. I can’t believe we’re almost there.

Though all of the big things are checked off, I feel like I still have a million little things left to do, including:

• Finish DIY’ing my card box

• Finish my aisle runner

• Get marriage license!

• Finalize the order of the ceremony

• Pay final balance with vendors

• Write Vows!

I am getting married in exactly a month!! Yay! I have to send out some after party invites (destination wedding- many parties–it’s complicaed).

This is my biggest thing. I still do not know what to do for my bachelorette party and am stressing that a tiny bit.

Create ipod play list

finish vows

Grooms mens gifts

ugg I know there is more but my brain hurts

@mjwyatt84:  Thank you so much!  I’ll hopefully know today.  Everyone at work is laughing at me, all I do is stare at my phone, willing it to ring LOL.  And I’m so glad my grandmother is actually coming to the wedding.  Some relatives were talking and saying, hey, she’s a little old for an evening ceremony, and she forgets things often, maybe she’ll just forget about the wedding.  That REALLY ticked me off, because she’s the one relative that has been there for everything for me!

We were supposed to get our marriage license today but now it’s going to be next week.

I have to send out rehearsal dinner invites.

Finish buying items for our Out of Town bags and candles for decorating house.

Finalize wedding playlists.

Pick up dress on March 12th!
