Hello Bees!!!!! Well,…..we are finally within the last 3 months before the BIG DAY and I am in need of some advice:) First, we are planning on getting our invites out by early next week, however, now we are seriously considering making our own pocket folds in order to contain our misc. information. Do any bees out there have any experience with DIY pocketfolds? Next, I am trying to find a sweet and subtle way to memorialize my father who suddenly passed away 3 1/2 years ago. I am considering attatching a small locket with a picture of him in it to the wrap of my bouquet? Any other suggestions on this would be much appreciated!!
Thank you bees!!!!

I’ve post my DIY of my Pocketfold Invites!
The company I got my paper from was very helpful & promtp in my order.
Also, I really like the locket idea… My grandmother gave me a 6 in bible she had in her bouquet 50 years ago… we’re using it as the “ring bearer pillow” =)

How precious to carry your dad in a locket on your bouqet. I am sorry he won’t be there; but his love will be with you forever. You might want to add a line in the wedding program that flowers on the altar are in his memory if that speaks to you.
Some couples have a memory table at the church with photos of family that have died. Nothing needs to be explained.
You could put all your inserts together with a “belly band”. A strip of paper with or without a menu of what’s under the band [info is easily computer generated and cut with a paper cutterr] and attached w/a glue stick.
Be careful however that all these inserts weigh alot and people misplace them.
What about including request for email on the RSVP card with a line that reads:
Directions and hotel information can be found on http://www.weddingwebsite.com
When you get the RSVP you can send out bulk emails reminding poeple of the website address because they would have sent it to you with their RSVP card.
Just a thought.
