if money isnt an option – how about a cruise somewhere tropical? curises can be decently inexpensive. and the traditonal 35th anniversary is coral/jade so it ties in.

What about a vacation to another state?  For FI’s parents 30th anniversary we booked them into a nice hotel, and got them movie tickets.

If money is no issue you could do the above plus a dinner out and spa vouchers etc.

Or could you get them a ticket home to their home state where their friends and relatives are and have the party there?

We got the whole family together and got a fancy professional photograher. My parents loved it and have a huge print up in their hallway.

@PinkMagnolia: I think they would love a DVD. Especially if you get a professional to put it together with music and all that
