    I don’t think it matters too much. I’m doing a seating chart (organized alphabetically by last name, large font – I think it is like 38 point font for their names), just because escort cards start to look messy as people pick them up and look for theirs. But I don’t think either one is really better than the other. We’re also having two copies of the seating chart, one at each door, to prevent crowding.

    I don’t care for the seating charts organized by table number… you get a crowd standing around trying to hunt out their name.

    I don’t know…I am picturing guests huddled around the chart and trying to read it. Place cards might go more smoothly.
