For a quality longline bra you’re probably going to spend more than $50 especially in an unusual size. If you know that they have your size at David’s Bridal and you’re trying to save time I would just bite the bullet, otherwise call the stores and see if they carry your size before going there.

I spent SO MANY HOURS trying to find longline bras in store, and they are almost impossible to find. I ended up buying one on Amazon for $44 — the same one that DB was selling for $79.

Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Felina-Essentials-Seamless-Hidden-Bustier/dp/B0009I5Q16/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1341358547&sr=8-1&keywords=felina+longline

Good luck! This was one of my biggest sources of frustration, honestly.

I bought mine at Macy’s! It doesn’t have any boning in the front, so it won’t show through most dresses, the back is also shorter so the backfat is under the dress, not over it!

I found a tiny local shop (i.e. 2 women in a small boutique) where I had a professional fitting and was able to buy my bra the same day.  It turns out I was wearing way too large of a bra – off by 2 band sizes and 2 cup sizes! – so it was a good thing I got fitted rather than ordering online.  I found them via Google.

Best $70 I’ve spent so far on this wedding!

If there is a lingerie boutique in your area, that will really be best. If your area is big enough to have its own DB, there is probably one around. I got an amazing longline bra for my wedding at such a shop for like $40, size 38D or Dirty Delete, I don’t remember. You will find many more sizes and options at a boutique. Most are easier to find searcing for places that carry bras for breast cancer survivors than for lingerie stores, because you’ll get a lot of porn and sexy lingerie shops if you try searching for lingerie.

Blums in Williamsville! I am from Long Island and we had a Blums there, and then I lived in Buffalo for a while and was amazed there was one there. I feel your pain, I’m a 36GG. Go to Blums on Sheridan and check out the brand “Panache”. You will spend $$$ but you’ll get a better bra. Also, there’s also the chance that you’re wearing the wrong size, and Blums will size you up. I was wearing a 38Dirty Delete when I SHOULD have been wearing a 36GG. HUGE difference. I bought one $70 Panache TShirt bra there, and have been ordering Panache bras on ebay for around $25 a bra since.

@MsYankee:  You should do it even if you don’t plan on buying a new bra. It could change your life! Tongue Out
