ann123 :  hmmm that’s quite difficult as high quality excellent cut rounds are usually 30k plus in the 2.5 ct range already. My advice is, go for the best cut possible as that’s the most important, then, go as low as possible for the clarity. I would say SI1 is a sweet spot. Just make sure it’s eye clean. In terms of color, if you go below an H, I recommend getting a diamond with fluorescence – strong or very strong (this will help your diamond look whiter than the actual color. I think with all these combined, it may be possible to get your dream diamond! Remember that cut is king and that should always be your priority and you probably can’t go wrong! Hope this helps

3.19ct ideal cut, VS1, I color. Definitely take advantage of the discounts many jewelers are offering, and find one who can work within your budget! My SO and I found a great jeweler in Chicago, and he was able to help us really understand which of the 4 C’s to optimize. I hope you find whatever you’re looking for! 🙂
