Alicia106:  I’ll try to respond to this in a couple of weeka when I get it, but I am waiting on a three stone elongated radiant with traps. It’s a 3.75 ring size, and the center is a little over 3

here’s an inelegant CAD

Mine is 2.89 carats. Not quite 3, but close. Finger is a 5.75 and the two baguettes are .24c each.

Here is my 3.1 solitaire, size 5 finger. The stone was a family stone that I had reset. When it was given to us, we thought it was around 2.8 carats but after the reset, had it appraised and found it was really 3.1.

Have you tried on 3 carat rings in person? I honestly find a the 3 carat a little large for everyday wear. The E-Ring that I do wear every day is 2.31 and I honestly prefer that size. It is it blingy without being over the top.

lilsweetie:  I would echo this — I didn’t want to get a bigger stone until she had tried it on, and went about as big as I felt made sense for her hand; there was a 5.1 carat that I could have gotten for basically the same price but it was completely too gaudy for everyday wear. I even went with a trellis setting to make it as small and practical as possible

Bottom pic is 3.5 carat garnet set in a plat Tacori setting. The top pic is the cz that was set in it originally at the jewelers. That gives you a better idea of what a 3.5 diamond would look like in a halo setting. My finger is a 4.5. Good luck! Excited for you!!!!

MrsSparkleBee13: This is the diamond. I sold the AG but kept the setting which is really what I was after in the first place  teehee. I couldn’t justify having two rings in almost exact same stone size. I have been looking at getting a tennis bracelet, so the AG sale is going towards that purchase.
