I’ve just seen a friend’s friend post a photo of her unborn baby on Facebook… it’s the 3d ultrasound image. I was really impressed as you can clearly see the baby’s face and what they look like!!!
I’m looking forward to when i get pregnant & have the baby, and seeing their little face for the first time OUTSIDE MY WOMB… 😉
Given, the opportunity, would you want to see your baby’s face before the birth??

I think it’s neat technology but I am a little creeped out about it too… I still think that I will wait and have the regular ultrasound but these are so detailed though. I’m kinda on the fence about them…

Oh I saw someone put up a whole fb album of 3D ultrasounds, and it totally creeped me out. No no no and no.

haha I think it’s funny when people say it creeps them out…I LOVE it!!! But I also might be a little biased because I work on labor and delivery so babies are my thang! haha
I’m not pregnant and not looking to get pregnant for at LEAST another 5 years, but when we do, I want to definitly have the 3D ultrasound done! I think it’s amazing! Technology has come sooo far!

I’m a bit creeped out by them too.

i don’t really understand the creeped out thing either, but whatever, to each his own!
i would totally want one! i don’t want to know the gender though (i mean when once we get preg, i’m not preggers now!) so i guess you just have to be sure and tell them that because i’m guessing it would be easier to tell if they showed that area. i’m glad more and more dr’s offices seem to have that tech onsite.

i’m sorry but i think they look creepy too. i guess they kind of look like the baby once they’re born? but to me they look like the alien version of a newborn! i’m looking forward to seeing my baby the first time once he/she is born 🙂

I don’t think they look creepy, but I found it to be astounding how far technology has come.

I’m a scientist so I actually think the 3D ultrasounds are really interesting and cool. Looking forward to geeking out and getting one when I am pregnant!

No, not cause I think they’re creepy, but just kinda voyeuristic. Plus, the baby’s face will probably look a little different if its vaginal birth, so I don’t want to be disappointed!

We had a 3D ultrasound because my Mother-In-Law insisted. There is only one picture where the baby looks cute — the rest are totally creepy!
Still, I’ve heard that while the pictures strongly resemble the baby, the baby will look much different when he or she is placed on your chest for the first time, so I’ll still consider that the first time I see my baby’s face. I really can’t picture her in my mind right now even when I look at the pictures. Might be different if you had 3D ultrasound pictures very close to your due date (like 36-40 weeks) when the baby was quite a bit bigger.

I guess I am in the minority here but I think they look really cool and will really want one! I am also the most impatient person ever so it will help curb some of that.

I’m actually working on scheduling one because I actually enjoy them. There’s a place in my area tha actually offers to do them for free because you act as their “model” while they test their machine on you for an hour.

My best friend did this type of ultra sound and I was a bit weired out. But, once the baby was born it didn’t look much like hte 3D image.

I think it is cool and we would have a 3Dultrasound when I am pregnant. I would like to see if my baby would really look like that when he/she is born. lol I doubt I would put it on FB (maybe in a private album for certain people to see).
