For me it’s cut, followed by colour (as long as it’s not visably coloured), then clarity (just no visible inclusions), lastly by carat – I didn’t want a large ring, I just wanted it to look normal and decnt sized without being large. In Aus, most people don’t have large diamonds, and my 1/2 carat (marquise) is bigger than I anticipated already!

For me it went: carat, cut, clarity, color. For my SO it was more like: clarity, color, carat, color.

For me it was:
Cut: Very good (Ideal would have been…ideal *groan* but not possible)
Colour: F – I went from approx I up to F, I got the chance to put the two together and the difference was amazing!
Carat: 1/4 – I didn’t want anything bigger than 1/2

lol I wondered that myself! In the GIA report for the K colored one it said that one flaw was cloudiness in the center. The E stone has a feather, but since it’s VS2 it’s not visible to the naked eye.
