(Closed) 4 hour wedding time slots.. are they doable????

Ugh I hate that!  Like you don’t have enough stress. Doable? It depends on what time of day your wedding is taking place, your guest list, and how much help you have. I don’t know if I would try to squeeze a ceremony in a four hour time slot too. You would really only have time for a cake and champagne reception then. Don’t forget you still have to do pics which will take at least a half hour.

 So could look like this: 6:00-6:30 vendors set up, centerpieces, etc. (most want at least an hour to set up)

6:30-7:10 ceremony (these things never seem to start on time though)

7:10-7:40 meal starts you do pics

7:40-8:00 you finally get to eat

8:00-8:15 toasts

8:15-8:30 cake cutting (more pics)

8:30-9:30 dancing garter/ bouquet/sendoff

9:30-10:00 lots of people help clean up

Doable but you will probably need a DOC to pull it off

Wow, that’s short for EVERYTHING. My venue does 4-hour blocks for just the reception.  Not including set up and clean up.  Good luck.

A DOC is a day-of-coordinator.  Like a wedding planner who only works on the day of the wedding (and maybe just some involvement in the few weeks prior), not the in-depth stuff for months beforehand.
