I cried reading your story. So, so very touching! Congratulations to you both and your rings are so beautiful! I love them : )
Your rings are beautiful. I’m so glad he healed so well and you can be together. You are very lucky indeed!
I must admit I am curious as to why it is a secret? Would your families not approve?
Jullis: Oh my goodness! Best. Story. Ever. I am so, so happy for you and your Fiance (almost Darling Husband — yay!). I’m so happy that he is recovering and that your love emerged from everything stronger than ever. Congratulations on your engagement and very soon-to-be marriage. I wish you both nothing but happiness in 2015 and beyond!
Your rings are beautiful, too!
Congratulations! That’s an amazing story.
I love your ring, it’s gorgeous and I would love to see more pics. My wedding band is champagne diamonds, I love it but I’ve never seen a larger champagne diamond, yours looks amazing!
Lovely story and stunning rings. Is that a champagne diamond? It’s fabulous. Congratulations!!
Congrats! Love the champagne diamond!

Congratulations and Best Wishes! Beautiful story and lovely rings!<3
Thanks everyone, your well wishes makes me really happy! :*
Some of you wonder why it’s such a secret. Actually, our family’s know that we last year decided to get married SOME day. They also know that I’ve had a ring since August. But they are kind of still waiting for the official engagement to happen. There was so many things going on last year with the recovery and all, so we pushed the engagement forward and then we decided to skip it and just jump straight to marriage. Everyone approves very much and both family’s and friends think we are perfect together.
But engagement is not such a big thing in swede as it it in for example the U.S. We don’t have engagement parties or take engagement pictures and so on. It’s a private thing. And many couples live together their whole life and has several kids, without ever getting either engaged or married.
Family’s and some friends knows that we are going to stay the night at this fancy hotel tomorrow, but they think it’s only to celebrate our 6 year anniversary. My mom thought she was Sherlock though and shouted out “So are you going to get engaged that day?!” I answered “I don’t know, we haven’t talked about it…”. And she was like “Ha! I can put two and two together! You’re not fooling me!”. LOL!
Congratulations to you both!
