I’m a Fourth of July bride, but we avoided the Independence Day theme entirely.  If you want something to do with the theme, I’d recommend snaps (the fireworks you throw on the ground that pop!).  Sparklers would be cute, but they may think you expect them to use all their sparklers for your exit.  But that’s a cute idea!  Maybe you could find colored sparklers?

I am hoping for cake slice shaped boxes that you stack up into a three-layer cake! Inside I want to put excelsior and some really good foil wrapped hearts.

Oh that’s so cute!  Look at that!!  Another thing I didn’t think about, having an afterdark reception, everyone can be outside having fun with their sparklers!  That’s a really great idea!
