Hi all! We’ve started picking our wedding party. I’m having 5 girls (1 Maid/Matron of Honor & 4 BMs), but Fiance has only chosen 3 men to stand with him.
I can’t imagine excluding any of my girls as I’m very close to each one. I also don’t want Fiance to have to pick some random friend he isn’t close to…but will this look weird?
I know having an uneven bridal party is no big deal, and I think I’d be okay with 4 BMs & 3 GMs, but 5 and 3? I’m thinking of having the girls walk down the aisle alone, with the GMs standing with Fiance at the altar already. But will it look silly once everyone is standing together? And what about in pics? Or the first dance!?
Any advice or pictures of your own uneven parties?

Is one of the Bridesmaid or Best Man his sister? She should stand on his side?

We had an uneven party with 4 Bridesmaid or Best Man and 4 Groomsmen and 1 Junior Groomsmen. We had the brothers walk the moms and the rest of the boys already at the alter for the processional. For the recessional they coupled up except my junior Groomsmen grabbed his girlfriend out of the audience to escort. When we did the grand entrance we had the three siblings walk in together and the rest of them as couples.

I have the same problem! I haven’t thought about the dances but I don’t think it will look weird in photos at all. For the walking part I think I’m going to have the Maid/Matron of Honor and Best man walk together then have the other 2 groomsmen walk with 2 girls on each side. It’s not for sure yet but it is an idea. Keep us updated on how it works out!
